Cancellation Policy

Burke’s Photography – Session Agreement: A 50% non-refundable retainer is required at booking to reserve your date and time. Your session is not considered booked until the retainer is paid and this agreement is accepted. The retainer is applied toward your total balance, which is due by the day of the session. Cancellations & Rescheduling: The retainer is non-refundable. Retainers for sessions rescheduled at least 10 days in advance can be applied to the new date. If you cancel or reschedule before your session, any amount paid beyond the retainer will be refunded. Arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice is considered a no-show. Weather & Photographer Cancellation: If weather or unforeseen circumstances require the photographer to cancel, you may transfer your retainer to a new date or receive a full refund, including the retainer. Session Timing: Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival results in reduced shooting time and does not qualify for a refund or reshoot. Images & Delivery: The photographer selects and edits the final images. RAW files are not provided. Images will be delivered via online gallery within 2–3 weeks unless otherwise stated. Copyright & Usage: Burke’s Photography retains copyright to all images. Clients receive personal use rights only. Images may not be sold, edited, or used commercially without written permission. Model Release: The client grants Burke’s Photography permission to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing unless the client opts out in writing before the session. Liability: Burke’s Photography is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages during the session. If the photographer is unable to complete the session due to illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events, liability is limited to a full refund. By booking, the client agrees to all terms above.
